Marc's Story:

Raised by a fourth generation woodworking family in New Jersey, Marc had a blue collar work ethic that began at a very young age.  A successful family business afforded him the opportunity to graduate college from CU Boulder with a Bachelors Degree in Business Science. With that degree, Marc spent the next 13 years of his life climbing the corporate ladder in Television and Digital Media, ultimately meeting his beautiful wife Joanne where they both worked at NBC Universal.

Sadly, as many of Marc's close friends in the business were effected by industry-wide layoffs, it became clear this corporate path was not in his heart. To Marc's dismay (in his last corporate job in advertising sales), the more ethical he was, the less success he had. A big career change was imminent and after months of internal debate, Marc decided to leave Corporate America in February 2014 to follow his blue collar childhood passion in woodworking and home building.

Soon after his career change, Marc hooked up with a local contractor who specializes in high-end residential remodels. As an apprentice with a steadfast work ethic, Marc learned the business from the bottom up; after 2 years and 8 residential remodels under his belt, Marc was ready to go on his own. JerseyBoy Construction was founded on Marc's integrity and desire to create beautiful things for good people.
